Carlisle town board to submit school bonds to voters
The Carlisle town board approved submitting the question of incurring an 8000 bond debt for a new school house to the voters at the May general election. Trustees listed candidates for town offices and approved several expense claims as they adjourned to April 23 to prepare for the May 4 election. Jessie Shannon, 12, died in Louisville after appendicitis and a later operation. her funeral was held in Carlisle with burial at Eagle Cemetery.
