Phil S Greiner and family headlined a Saturday night program at the opera house to a large audience. W G Eaton of Sullivan Indiana visited Robinson last week seeking to establish another bank under state law. The Argus reports strong encouragement and expects the corporate organization to be completed. Eaton had considered Farmersburg and Oaktown locations, while Guthrie is praised as a capable business man who would do well in Robinson.

In Sullivan circuit court Wm. B. Pigg of Cass township was convicted of simple assault and battery with intent to kill Wiley Gambill, a Sullivan county commissioner. Gambill, who suffered severe head and arm injuries, had a $10,000 damage suit pending against Pigg. the trial featured many witnesses and lengthy proceedings.
