Farm Set-Aside Payments Begun For About 400 Caribou Farmers
About 400 farmers in Caribou County will receive early farm set aside payments during July under ASCS. The payments help offset losses from crop shortage and support conservation steps, with limits of 55 000 per person across three crops. Final wheat and feed grain payments depend on market conditions and law. An automobile accident on US 30N caused damage to two vehicles, investigated by Soda Springs police, with donors totaling 2285.80 through July 17.
