APC Installs New Car Unloader at Conda Plant
Agricultural Products Corp reports its Conda plant near Soda Springs now operates a new ore car turnover unloading facility. The system rotates loaded cars 180 degrees to dump ore onto a drag conveyor feeding the stockpiling belt, reducing noise and boosting throughput. Washington Construction Company operates the mechanism under APC contract, with up to 200 cars daily during summer, using two Union Pacific locals on a 20 mile Dry Valley mine haul.
