Soda Springs prepares for April municipal election

City voters in Soda Springs will go to the polls on April 23 to elect a mayor and two councilmen. Mayor Allen Tigert, appointed to serve the unexpired term of the late Aaron Ozburn, previously served as first precinct councilman. First precinct councilman Earl Gunnell and second precinct councilman J. E. Garvin face re election questions, while incumbent Frank Lallatin and Art Kelly remain holdovers from the last council. The council previously drew lots for two and four year terms.

March of Dimes Auction Draws Big Crowd And High Bids

A lively March of Dimes auction attracted a large crowd and strong bidding. Biwin Lay and Pic Picanco kept energy high while small sales topped large ones from last year, and the event raised notable funds including raffle items and a cutter race.
