Grace Takes B Wrestling Title at Fifth District Meet

Snowmobile Races Set for Sat and Sun in Soda Springs region

The Soda Springs Sno-Drifters Club presents a fourteenth annual weekend of snowmobile racing on Feb 21 and 22. Saturday features a 100 mile cross country race from Wood Canyon toward Hooper Spring with 100 plus three man teams, expected finish around 2 PM. Sunday hosts over 150 riders in four classes at Van Christensen Ranch with 1 1/2, 2 1/2, and 3 1/2 mile heats, time trials at 10 AM and races at 12 noon, plus spectator amenities and a small admission fee.

District Cage Meet Set for Preston This Year

Fifth District A-2 basketball double elimination will be held in Preston during the last week of February and first weekend of March. Pairings place Soda Springs Preston Malad Bear Lake Montpelier eastern teams at Preston and western teams at American Falls.

Junior High Music Concert at Soda Springs

The Soda Springs School Music Department presents a concert Wednesday February 25 at 7 30 p m in the high school auditorium. Sixth and seventh grade bands directed by Wally Bennett perform a varied program. Eighth grade mixed chorus also directed by Bennett will sing. Seventh grade boys and girls choruses will perform separately and combine for a novelty number. Seven grade ensembles join the program under Mrs Winifred Alldaffer. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Power and Light Co in cooperation with Caribou County Extension Homemakers Council sponsor a countywide Electronic Cooking School. It features the electronic oven and a new outdoor electric grill with door prizes and free babysitting. Sessions at First Ward Church Soda Springs on March 4 at 1 30 and 8 and March 5 at 1 30.

Measles Vaccine Clinic Set for February 25

A special clinic will be held February 25 from 8 00 to 9 00 a m at the Public Health Nurse Office Caribou County Courthouse. The vaccine targets the red or hard measles not German measles. All county children aged 1 year and older may attend, and this may be the last free vaccination opportunity.
