Water Resources Board Sets Final 72 Meeting

The Idaho Water Resource Board will hold its final meeting of 1972 on December 29 at the Rodeway Inn Boise. Chair John F. Streiff said the session starts at 1:00 p.m. in Room 704 with public attendance invited. The agenda includes a budget for 1973-74, review of the National Water Commission report, proposed legislation on endowments and a permanent Water Resources Committee, loan applications, Revolving Development Fund status, Crane Falls Project, Pilot Recharge Project, and planning items including a water quality study and the Boise Project Post Audit Study.

North Gem FFA Boys Awarded Purebred Heifers

North Gem FFA Chapter members Kim Barfuss and Kyle Crockett each received a five hundred pound registered Hereford heifer on November 30. One heifer stemmed from a Sears and Roe buck donation. the other came from Holbrook Ranches Inc. Wallace Hayes and Sons Ranch sold the calves with a $100 discount. The bows will donate their first calf back to the chapter and new heifers will be awarded to other deserving members.
