Autos Collide Near Here Sending Victims to Hospital
Mrs. Norman Gardner 23 of Soda Springs is seriously injured from a wreck 24 miles northeast of here on the Blackfoot Dam road. She sustained a fractured knee and leg and facial cuts. hospitalized in Pocatello for several months. Other injured include Norman D Plymouth’s three children Tress 4 Reggie Dean 2 and Dickie Lane 5 months. Ricky Lane treated and dismissed. In the other car 1952 Dodge driven by Mark Lindsay 27 Hill Field Utah, his wife 22 Var Lindsay 29 Blackfoot James Lindsay 7 Elizabeth Manning 11 and the driver, all injured. Lindsay and his wife released to physicians. Sheriff Marriott said Lindsay followed about 150 yards behind the preceding car as they traveled from Blackfoot toward Soda Springs. The Gardner car coming from Lod Springs to Blackfoot met the first car. dust obscured sight and prevented avoidance. Both cars demolished in a dust filled swale.
