Wide range of acts booked for Caribou County Fair

The Caribou County Fair and Night Rodeo in Grace runs August 8 through 10 featuring Orval the Daredevil Clown Boise Bareback Riders and the El Kalah Oriental Band of Ogden Utah. Saturday highlights include Ronald McDonald Foalima the Fire Dancer and Neil Garrett the rodeo clown with the Little Buckaroo Rodeo on August 9 and horse racing on August 10.

Senior Citizens Plan Regular Dinners At Soda Springs

Senior Citizens Organization meets at Caribou County Courthouse to finalize dinner schedule. Attendees include Alice Wilson and Ira Ellis report on building access and $10,000 tax funds from Memorial project. Correction on fair book premiums in sewing division

The Fair Board Secretary notes a correction in the Sewing Division of the Fair Book. The High School premiums will be 1.00, 0.75 and 0.50 dollars, the same as the Adult Open Class Sewing.

Pony League Ball Tournament Set For Soda Springs

Soda Springs hosts its annual Invitational Pony League Tournament in City Park on August 9 10 and 11 with twelve teams from Southern Idaho and northern Utah. A meeting is set in Pocatello at 7 30 P M on Thursday August 9 at the Yellowstone Branch of the Idaho First National Bank to discuss proposed 1972 upland game seasons and 1973 1974 furbearer seasons.
