Remembrance Mass Draws Orange County’s Oldest Families
About 100 people gathered at Old Mission Cemetery for an annual Mass of Remembrance honoring ancestors. Attendees included Hunas Belardeses and Garcias among long‑standing Nieblas Rios Yor families. Organizers from Capistrano Historical Alliance Committee and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange said the event attracts new participants from across the region. Msgr. Michael McKiernan noted the Mass at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano.
