Piper’s fight with OMS and community fundraiser
In January 2012 Piper Evans was diagnosed with Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome along with a Neuroblastoma. After a two day stay at CHOC she underwent tests and a tumor removal. Her treatment includes chemotherapy and therapies while neighbors and schools raise funds through a carnival and bracelets to support the family and OMS research.
