Mission marks return of swallows to San Juan Capistrano
The historic San Juan Capistrano Mission celebrated St. Joseph's Day with Return of the Swallows events. Bells rang as music and student performances highlighted the cliff swallows that migrate from Goya, Argentina, to the mission area each spring and linger through October before returning south.
