Portrait: Bob Hagstrom Finds San Juan Capistrano Life
Bob Hagstrom stopped at Sarducci’s in February 1988 while touring from San Diego to LA and fell in love with the town. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years in computer communications, moved from Massachusetts in 1992, and now enjoys the depot, Summer Nites, and open spaces. He and his wife Susan, married in 1989, have five children and five grandchildren. Hagstrom hopes to serve on the city council and improve traffic flow and schools while preserving the town’s equestrian charm and open spaces.
