District La Novia and San Juan MeadowsVoter Approval
In 2011 voters approved a large mixed use development on both sides of La Novia Avenue east of I-5. San Juan Meadows spans 135 acres on the south side and Distrito La Novia about 18 acres on the north. Advanced Real Estate Services had prepared the land since 1999, with City Council approval in November 2010. Acreage, funding totals and referendum drive by Citizens for Sensible Development noted. construction could start in 2012.
