At JSerra Catholic High School students react with disbelief and support for Ricardo Aldana after his arrest on suspicion of sex acts with a 14 year old. He was released on bail and no charges filed yet. The district attorney has up to 30 days to pursue charges.
The mother of a 14 year old girl filed for a restraining order against Ricardo Aldana a 37 year old former JSerra Catholic High School teacher accused of sexual misconduct. A temporary order was issued in Orange County Superior Court with a hearing set for Jan 4. The family’s attorney says they fear harm from Aldana who allegedly texted and caused the student to spend a night at his Dana Point apartment. Aldana was arrested Dec 14 on molestation suspicions and fired by the school. he has not been charged.
