Suspect held without bail in San Juan Capistrano double stabbing
Robert Eugene Vasquez, 34, appeared in Orange County Jail facing special circumstances murder by lying in wait, aggravated assault, and weapon enhancements after allegedly stabbing neighbor Rainwater Jr. to death and striking Lance Lyons two days later with a metal object. If convicted he could face life without parole.
