Whispering Hills project gets council approval with election on Measure CC
The City Council passed a tentative tract map for Whispering Hills Estates by a 3-1-1 vote, with John Gelff dissenting and Diane Bathgate abstaining. The plan calls for 175 homes a high school over 210 acres of open space and an 8 acre city school park, with voter authorization via Measure CC on November 5. Approval is conditional on voter consent and includes set backs of 20 feet from existing Hidden Mountain Estates. Gelff backs the high school but cites hillside density rules.
