Capistrano district reviews graduation requirements
Capistrano Unified School District trustees held a July 15 special meeting to address deficiencies in graduation requirements after many students enrolled in summer classes. The focus was on health and career and college planning, which count toward graduation but are not A-G courses for CSU and UC eligibility. Only about half of district students graduate with A-G requirements, with 2013-14 graduates at 52 percent, down from 53 percent the prior year.
