David Boreden of 2nd Avenue died after a threshing machine accident last Wednesday. He slipped into the cylinder and was freed only after workers followed his instructions. He lived about four hours after the incident and is survived by a grieving widow. Funeral was held Friday at a burial site six miles south of town.

Rt. Wor. P. G. M. Tate led a lodge of instruction at Canora Lodge No. 59 with many visiting brethren. The program featured talks by Grand Lodge officials and concluded after 1.30 am with refreshments and fellowship. Attending from various lodges were R. W. P. G. M. Tate Regina and numerous masters and members from Regina Saskatoon Yorkton Humboldt and other towns.
Under the Land Titles Act and amendments thereunder a mortgage sale of valuable farm property will be offered at public auction in Canora Saskatchewan. The sale is conducted under the power contained in the mortgage and will take place in the town of Canora on a date to be announced.
