Foundry and Iron Plant to Be Moved to Canora

A special Board of Trade meeting in Canora approves transferring six lots in block 145 to S D Hills to house a moving foundry and iron works from Glenwood Minnesota. The plan starts with ten jobs rising to twenty five, with an $10,000 initial plant and extra storage to be arranged. The project includes an 80 by 40 foot building addition and top equipment list. The plant is to be installed and operating by June 1 1914 with a full setup cost including freight and duties.

At Melville last Friday Dr. Moricz a well known Canova figure faced commitment for trial. On Saturday Cecil Boyd paid $2.00 plus costs after a charge of assault against N F Leach. James Norton appeared yesterday before J Ps McIntosh and Stephen, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly and was fined $10.00 and costs.
