A special meeting of the Canora Creamery Company board was held in the town office on Saturday June 13 with President Drennan presiding Directors Barschel Fyhri and Sutherland attended. Minutes approved. manager Geo Mathe son’s May 30 report filed. finances updated. Authorization given to secure an additional 300 for operations and to appoint the Sec Treas to countersign cheques at the Canadian Bank of Commerce. Waddell to Attend TB Association Meeting in Halifax

Old Settler's Picnic Draws Crowds at Mikado

The fourth annual Old Settler's Day Picnic at Mikado drew many visitors from Canova and Verigin. Ideal weather followed by a football field accident. races featured a Kamsack horse named Wild Grass winning the running event. Verigin defeated Canova in a 7-6 baseball score after six innings. The Canora Band provided music and a grand dance filled the hall at night.
