Fremont County Bank installs an extensive remodel with golden oak fixtures, a talk area, teller cage, cashier window, president’s office, new floor and doors. The project includes bronze trim, plate glass, a new customer counter, and fresh paint throughout the interior.

Carson City High School held Class Day Tuesday night with two student plays A Perplexing Situation and Our Boys. The senior class listed included Irvin Stockton Lizzie Edsall Ed Frank Florence McAdams Fred Gardner Blanch Penney Ruth Lewis Clyde Minor Gladys Dickinson Clarence Seybert Florence Peare Alfred Harrison Carl Swisher. Regular commencement exercises and baccalaureate sermon announced with Dr B E Hart.
The sixth annual South Canon high school commencement at the Baptist Church drew a full audience on May 22. The class of 1900 includes Ula L. Proctor May Thompson Leon Woodford Earl Miller and Edna Terry the first to complete a full four year program. Edna Terry delivered the salutatory and oration on The Struggles of a Dying Nation. Dr Snyder president of the state normal school spoke Education is Life. Leon G Woodford delivered the valedictory on Bubbles in Science urging moral development alongside material progress. Diplomas were presented by Hon James T Locke with remarks on life. May Thompson gave the alumni address.
