Stolen Goods Found at Ranch Tied to McClelland Gang
Sheriff and undersheriff searched Louis Seymour ranch, now owned by R. D. McClelland, near Upper Currant creek. They found empty pits likely used to cache stolen loot but located no significant items. Authorities believe the ranch stored much of the gang’s plunder and that McClelland led the theft ring. They recovered an overcoat stolen from the bogsy at the First Preabter ium church and a half-queen or more.
