Notice to Contractors Fremont County Bridge Bid
Sealed bids will be received by the Fremont County Colorado clerk until 11 a m August 3 1908 for constructing two cement abutments and a steel bridge with cement floor two spans 32 feet by 20 feet. The Italian born killer Alia died by hanging after a failed attempted strangulation in prison and a dramatic move to Canon City. He had attacked guards, endured a hunger strike, and expressed no remorse before his execution following a first degree murder conviction for killing Father Leo at St Elizabeths church in Denver.
