High Schools from Salida to Canon City join in Field Day at the Fre mont County Fair set for Friday September 22. An athletic program is a new feature expected to draw many visitors from out of town. Canon City and South Canon schools prepare to open next Tuesday as teachers return from vacations. Enrollment last year reached 1247 and will likely rise slightly this year. Two Boys Arrested for Theft in Salida
