Arkansas Valley Electric Road Talked At Pueblo Meeting
A meeting at the Granada hotel in Pueblo discussed Northern Electrical Co plans to build an electric power and transportation line from Dodge City to Canon City via Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Local figures Atwater and Ross urged support, noting potential power pumping for irrigation and town use, with Canon City seen as key to extending the project eastward. A Chamber of Commerce meeting and a touring schedule were proposed to organize a regional company within 30 days.
