A 28-year-old Yugoslav miner, Egan Kur ent, was killed instantly when a rock struck him after a machine tore a pressed air pipe in the Geehi Tunnel at Bellavista in the Snow Mountains. Five other miners were slightly injured as rocks showered a group of 25 miners nearby.
