British Prime Minister Macmillan convenes a crisis cabinet session to weigh the Commonwealth onslaught on terms Britain has secured for entry into the world market. He is expected to announce a reply by Saturday or Monday after strong criticisms from Commonwealth leaders at their conference.
Thirty Navy personnel arrived at the RAAF Base Fairbairn for a two week exchange with the RAAP No 11 Neptune Maritime Reconnaissance Squadron. Led by Captain BR VI Peterson they will operate with RA A P aircraft using latest maritime techniques and visit memorials.
