In Sydney, public dispute between the Medical Benefits Fund of Australia and the Hospitals Contribution Fund to affect hospital advertising ended with a court injunction dissolved by consent. The M B F reported a record 15,211,500 pounds in benefits for the year to June 30 and a 750,000 pound profit, with total gains since inception nearing 88 million pounds over 15 years.
