The UK Cabinet plans a meeting to decide if Queen Elizabeth will visit Accra for a Ghana tour. Ghana President Nkrumah and Commonwealth Relations Secretary Duncan Sandys toured the planned arrival route amid two bombs exploding on the route last night.
Reports from Accra and London discuss explosions near Kwame Nkrumah and Queen Elizabeth II's planned visit. Dr Nkrumah urged delaying the tour to reassure safety while UK leaders debate Commonwealth input and potential cancellation.
The Earl of Snowdon and the Countess of Rosse arrive at Clarence House in London on Saturday. Lord Snowdon had visited his wife Princess Margaret and their son before returning to the Royal residence.
Rescue ships swept the sea with searchlights to locate more survivors. One of 68 crew members was picked up and later alive. three soon lied after rescue. Captain Lo Go Pils and several officers and engineers were among yesterday's survivors.

Leonard Keith Lawson of Anzac Avenue Collary faces murder charges for the killings ofJane Hower16 of Stuart Avenue Manly and Wendy Liscombe a Moss Vale student. He also allegedly shot headmistress Miss Jean Turnbull at Moss Vale Church of England Girls Grammar School. Bail was refused and Lawson was escorted to a cell.
Northside subscribers will revert to original numbers Saturday night after Civic automatic exchange was destroyed by a September 22 fire. The PMG Department notes 4 500 telephones cut off and the 500 000 building and equipment were a total loss.
The PMG issued a notice that subscribers in Canberra and nearby centres were connected to a temporary automatic exchange moved from a former line depot behind the burned out facility. People calling after 11 p.m. Saturday would be advised of the change and temporary numbers.
Mr J J Davaren of Sydney to lead defence for Daniel Norris Nicholls in the Keys murder trial. Nicholls 45, a cook from Mulwala House, committed for trial in the Supreme Court on December 4 before Justice Dunphy. Prosecution to be led by Crown prosecutors Wa Knight QC and A Watson with D J Crossin as junior counsel.
