Gary John Purtell 19 of Westlake Canberra was fined £15 and given a two month licence suspension after pleading not guilty to driving at 3 mph in Lonsdale Street Braddon on March 3. Police said two cars travelled side by side before a crash occurred as both turned. Purtell had prior driving offences and licence cancellations.
