Singaporean aid worker tended graves at Kranji Cemetery
As Anzac Day nears Australians recall the 1942 Singapore siege and the Asians who risked their lives to aid them. Tan Tiong Thor, now caretaker of Kranji Cemetery, tends over 1,000 Australian graves and is pictured with Staff Sergeant Barry Parrier of Tasmania and Private Cecil Jones of New Zealand.
