Three Year Sentence For Clock Theft In Canberra Case
A labourer Reginald Claude Skelton of Beau champ House received 36 months gaol after pleading guilty to stealing a travelling clock from Mort Street on June 21. Detective Kent said Skelton was found under a bed in the flat. earlier he broke into a garage but took nothing. Skelton had recently arrived in Canberra from Brisbane via New Zealand.
