The United States and Britain reportedly reached general agreement on moves to form a NATO nuclear force. State Department said talks ended in Washington after a week and results will go to the North Atlantic Council in Paris.
Nassau agreed on December 21 to assign a nuclear armed bomber force to NATO with the U S contribution to include Polaris submarines and possibly surface ships.
