Tax Bill Disputed by Galvin in Record IRS Claim

Former California mining and shipping figure Galvin contests a 9 million pound US tax bill. The IRS says the debt rose to about 9.92 million pounds after a trust for five children was added. An appeal was filed in the US Tax Court in Washington arguing income abroad is not taxable and the debt was miscalculated. Galvin has lived in Dublin since last year after leaving Woodside and California.
