George D Hooker Dies in Marlin Home at 70

George D Hooker, 70, died at his Marlin home after a prolonged illness on a Tuesday. Funeral services were held the next Wednesday at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Rosse with Rev. Wright officiating. He was father to Mrs. Sam Deer of Cameron and grandfather to Clyde Greenlees and his two great grandchildren Clyde Sidney and Joe Frank Greenlees. He was associated with the Santa Fe Railroad as a railway worker.
