Social pleasures fill Cameron week with parties and games
Mrs. John Watson hosted a stunts party for about forty five ladies, with elaborate dresses and a finale of Johny Jones and his sister Sue. Dr Ola Sheffield hosted a large Cameron dance on a pink and white porch, punch and dances followed by Miss Leone Creel’s reception with contests. Paul Watson entertained children on Judge Watson’s lawn with soap races, senses contest, and a war story. Lillie May Jeter led a Baptist Sunday School picnic at Batte Park with lemonade and ice cream.
