Percy Tracy, engineer at Cameron Power and Light, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Tracy of Salem, married Mamie Spiller, popular Star Products employee, on October 15, 1925, at the bride’s parents’ home in East Cameron. The couple now share an apartment with Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Mitchell and have begun housekeeping as friends extend best wishes.

Sunday School Picnic Honors Incoming Classes at Park
The Intermediate department of the Methodist Sunday school led by J. C. Tucker arranged a picnic at Wilson Ledbetter Park to welcome two incoming classes. Games provided merriment, lunches from home were shared, and roasted viennas and toasted marshmallows were served by Mr. Tucker.

No Extra Session Declared by Speaker After Talk With Moody
Austin Oct 26 No special session of the Texas Legislature will be called at this time by Speaker Lee Satterwhite following a lengthy conference with Attorney General Moody. He said there is no immediate need unless Moody fails to secure results in the highway department probe. The speaker also noted no extra session over foot and mouth disease, citing the AG’s opinion on a $400000 deficiency and pending payments to cattle owners.
