Sharp-Tracy area notes crops and social visits
Rain Sunday night dumped nearly an inch, damaging hay while most cotton is out. Pecan crop protection is a new worry due to crows. Local families from Sharp, Rosebud, Cooperas Cove, Cameron and Bryan hosted and visited relatives. US Navy bootcamp sailor Bill Bradley visited Rockdale High School and joined hunting with the Roeslers. Visitors from Greenville, Boling, Dallas, Temple, Salado and other nearby towns attended gatherings and art fairs.
