The Woman's Missionary Society of the Methodist church met Monday at 3 p.m. to discuss the upcoming Friday evening trip around the world. The annual progressive party proceeds support the society's funds and features novel entertainment planned by members.

Marlin defeated Cameron 19 to 6 at the Marlin Fairgrounds last Saturday at 2 30 p m. The Cameron standout was fullback Lawless Green who scored the feature touchdown. Miss Lucile Clement of Avetin is visiting friends in the city.
