Thorndale Girl Scout unit forms amid meetings at Boy Scout HQ

Final organization work proceeds with Mrs A Taegel and Miss Gladys Summerlin in charge as girls meet at the Boy Scout headquarters to take tenderfoot tests and seek a charter. Meetings planned every Thursday after school in the Clark building. In Thorndale a break in at the Ideal Garage left little loot after a careful stock check. A Ford touring was seen fleeing toward Rockdale and Cameron, but the trail was lost. The robbers appeared prepared with a bolt cutter and fled with only nominal gains.
