Rockdale technician injured when car pins him against wall
Joshua Fults, 19, a service technician for Stanley Lynch Autoplex in Rockdale, was seriously injured Tuesday when a 2007 Dodge pickup he was working on slipped into reverse, pinning him between the vehicle and a wall. He suffered a broken right femur, a broken right arm and head bleeding, and was flown to Scott and White Hospital in Temple after initial treatment at Cameron Airport.

Woman hurt when car crashes home in Cameron
An elderly Cameron woman, 75-year-old Daisy Manners, was injured Thursday night when a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Ashton Wallace crashed into her home at 600 Newhouse. Wallace and passenger Shonteria Bryant were taken to Scott and White Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Manners to Central Texas Hospital. Officer Greg Eakens investigates.

Rockdale Man Killed in Roll-Over Crash Near Thorndale
A Rockdale resident, Brian Stauffer, 30, died early Saturday when his 2009 Ford F-250 rolled several times on FM 908 near Apache Pass seven miles north of Thorndale. DPS Sgt. Nix said he was traveling south around 1:30 a.m. and overcorrected after drifting toward a right-hand curve, ejecting from the vehicle as it rolled about five times. Justice of the Peace Don Schuerman pronounced him dead at the scene. Witnesses indicate he may have been traveling at a high rate of speed.

Milam County Special Investigating Unit and Rockdale Police raided a East Hamilton Street house in Rockdale late Friday afternoon. Reginald Wayne Rideaux, 32, was arrested on possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana with possible further charges after DPS Crime Lab analysis. Sheriff David Greene and Police Chief Thomas Harris led the operation following a month long probe.
