The Swine Subcommittee of the Co Program Building Committee schedules a two day Swine Shortcourse for Milam County producers October 11 in Thorndale and October 12 in Cameron. Dr. W B Thomas will speak on pasture confinement and controls while James Denton covers economic swine potentials and marketing. Milam County hog numbers rose to about 18 000 head in 1971 with over one million dollars in annual hog sales and attendees are welcome.
