History Club and Civic Groups Gather in Cameron
The History Club met with Miss Winnie Henderson and elected officers led by Mrs. Tom Denson as president. U D C chapter officers were chosen at Mrs. Frank Lesovsky home. The Presbyterian auxiliary and Baptist auxiliary held meetings with reports and planned activities. A Cameron girl Louise Stribling is engaged to Carlos Appell Lastinger, and several social events including 42 parties and a 7 o'clock dinner were noted. Westmoreland Hall marries Earl Westmoreland and Pauline Hall in Memphis guest list.
