Frank F. Reid to be buried in Cameron Thursday
Frank F. Reid 74 a Cameron resident and longtime First Baptist deacon died Tuesday night after a long illness. He will be buried Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery with funeral services at 10 a m at First Baptist Church conducted by Rev C W Sanders. He lived in Cameron since 1917 earlier born December 11 1869 in Hope Arkansas survived by his widow two sons and four grandchildren. Out of town relatives include Phillip Reid and family Paris and John House Sr Paris among others. Pallbearers listed with honorary members from his church.

SGT Shirley McLean Back From Pacific Duty
SGT Shirley McLean, 30 months in the South Pacific, arrived home at Fort Sam Houston and will spend 21 days in Cameron with relatives before a Florida rest and new assignment. He was wounded in New Guinea 1943, awarded the Purple Heart, and spent months in a hospital.
