Funeral services for A. R. Butler 71 were at 4 p m Monday at the Rice Church with Rev P L Caperton. Burial in Rice Cemetery. He died September 30 after a long illness. Bertha M Scheler 62 died at St Edward Hospital October 2 1951 after a brief illness. Born March 23 1889 in Pleasant Hill Washington she lived in Clarkson 52 years and was part of a prominent local family. Funeral at Marek Burns October 3 1951 officiated by Rev R Tager. Interment Clarkson Cemetery with Marek Burns directing. Survived by husband Joe Scheler two sons Herman and Tolin Scheler five Schulz in-laws two sisters and four grandchildren. Pallbearers named.
