Twenty first State Fair of Texas to Open October 13
The twenty first annual State Fair of Texas opens October 13 with a modern plant and a value exceeding five million dollars. Livestock poultry vehicles and farm products displays are the largest yet, while thirteen days of events on the race tracks promise $50 000 in purses. Over eight hundred horses are entered for racing and a large amusement park with Seymour’s band vaudeville and other acts is planned. The fair runs through October 28 1906 with low railroad rates.
