Milam County 4-H held a County 4-H Food Show on September 22 at the New Salem Building in Rockdale drawing 17 youth with dishes from main courses to desserts. Photos show participants and 4-H Council officers inducted at the September meeting. The 2010 4-H calendar calls for drawings with 4-H is Fun as theme and $ cash awards for top entries in each age group. The National 4-H Conference notice invites seniors to apply Sept. 15 to Nov. 15 for a March 20 25, 2010 program in Maryland with an estimated $1500 cost. Medications and the Elderly Caregiver Program in Cameron
A Cameron Caregivers Support group hosts a October 12 program on medications for the elderly.
