Bridge mishap near Rosebud causes heavy damages

Elderly Man Dies In Griffin Chapel Fire
An 89 year old retired farm hand died in an early morning house fire in Griffin Chapel, 13 miles east of Cameron near Milano. Fire crews from Cameron and Milano arrived at 7 10 a.m. and found the body inside after a gas heater blast started the blaze, which left the one story home a complete loss. Nelson was taken to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale for funeral arrangements.
