Milam County Master Naturalists bloom with active programs
El Camino Real Master Naturalists of Milam County grow to over 50 members focusing on restoration, education, and research. They document flora and fauna, band birds, track amphibians and mussels, maintain displays in libraries, join Adopt-A-Highway, win awards for newsletters photography and art, and plan the Milam County Nature Festival June 11-12 at Wilson Ledbetter Park Cameron. The group collaborates with state agencies and private landowners to study native species and promote conservation statewide.
